Greetings from Seattle
I first met Hiroshi and Mie Shiroma at a gemba in Tochigi prefecture. It was a home for a prominent Doctor and his family in the area. My confidence in the Shiroma’s has grown ever since this first meeting.
After this gemba finished Shiroma’s and myself went to work for one of the leading homebuilders. We were to support the import division. Our knowledge of how best to build import housing grew very much during the period of time.
After that experience, we decided to start our own business together. We have built several homes since our partnership and I am happy to say that our level of professionalism has grown very much.
I have been working in Japan since 1986 on a great number of job sites, and the level of expertise with Shiroma Home is superior to all of the other contractors that I have had the pleasure to work with in Japan.
Honestly it is like working with a homebuilder in the United States, there is no difference. Shiroma Home completely understands the concepts of American home building and apply this knowledge to the homes that they construct in Japan. They are truly an import house company. From design of the home, use of imported materials and interior design all blended with the concerns of the customer.

拝啓 私が城間浩氏と美恵夫人に初めてお会いしたのは栃木県でした。土地の名医とそのご家族のための家造りの現場でした。城間夫妻への私の信頼はこの最初の出会い以来、ゆるぎないものとなりました。
その現場での仕事を終えた後、城間夫妻と私はあるトップクラスの住宅メーカーの輸入部門をサポートすることになりました。この時期に、我々は輸入住宅を最高の状態で建てるための知識の研鑽を積んだのです。

Mr. Stremme’s rich experience has gained and flourished in his home country, the U.S., and in Japan. The major projects he actively participated in Japan are the Summit House in Futago Tamagawa in Tokyo, Center House in ABC Senri Housing Park in Osaka, Seattle and Vancouver Village in Kobe, and the Model House in Shin-Sapporo STV Housing Plaza.
